Hot Glue

This process is pretty straight forward, given the fact that most of the people own or know how to use a glue-gun. It's steps are the following:

- Connect device to wall socket;

- Wait for the nozzle to heat up;

- Insert the glue stick and wait until the gun starts to extrude the glue;

- Apply glue to the desired surface;

- Wait for it to harden;

- Repeat.

My interventions are based on the 4th step, when instead of adding the glue to the material to stick it, I used the glue to get different types textures from different materials. I tried to experiment and see how much detail can this method preserve.
This resulted into the ideea of making a mould of an object using hot glue. It did't turn out too well, I could barely remove the outer casing made out of plastic and the rings seemd to be stuck inside. There is no way of smoothly cutting the glue.
The last intervention is an attempt to use a glue gun like you would a 3D printer so I tried adding material layer by layer to see if I can build something that would hold it's own weight only with glue.
I also noticed the clump of glue that the glue gun leaves when not used, untill it cools so I deided to let it drip from different heights to see what happens and also into water.
